Taco Cups
Who doesn't love Taco Tuesday? Surprise the family with this fun twist on tacos. Its like having a taco filled biscuit! My family likes it with melted cheese on top, and a little sour cream. They're perfect out of the oven, and some in my house argue better as leftovers. Tacos cups are the perfect dinner or snack on the way to practice because they can be reheated and easily eaten in the car with napkin.
Ingredients: (I feed a family of 5, with lots of leftovers)
2 cans grands biscuits
2 lbs ground beef
2 packets taco seasoning
1 jar taco sauce
2 cans beans (red or black)
1 1lb bag of shredded cheese
Sour cream -optional
Cooking Instructions:
Pre heat oven to 350
Brown meat and add Taco seasoning as directed on package
Add beans, and half jar of taco sauce to meat
Take biscuits and rip them in half, so you end up with a top and bottom biscuit
(each biscuit will make two taco cups)
Place each half in greased (butter and pam work great!) muffin tray
Do this until you fill up the muffin tray with biscuits
Fill each biscuit with taco meat, and top with cheese
Cook for 12-15 minutes and enjoy!
